Comments

When visitors comment on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as visitor IP address and browser information to help detect unwanted comments.

An anonymized text generated from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service can be found at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile image will be publicly displayed with your comment.

Cookies

If you make a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, e-mail address and site address saved in cookies. These are for your convenience. So that you do not have to retype your details when you make another comment. These cookies are stored for one year.

How long we keep your data

If you make a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This way, we can automatically recognize and approve your subsequent comments instead of putting them in the approval queue.
